Minsk is located on the southeastern slope of the Minsk Hills, at the center of the country. Minsk has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, Victory Park and Church of Saints Simon and Helena are some of the tourist attractions to visit in the city.
